I live with my wife and three daughters. My wife and I both work part-time jobs and live on a limited income.Three years ago, I suffered a heart attack and subsequently was placed on several prescription medicines. I didn’t think life could get any harder. I was on medication to lower my blood pressure, to keep my cholesterol down and to slow my heart rate. It all happened so quickly and was a little overwhelming…However, without these medications, I could have easily had another heart attack, or worse, even died. I cannot begin to think about not being here for my little girls. I am so grateful to the people that make the medications I take, which have helped me to live a better and healthier life.
I don’t worry about having another heart attack. Instead, I love spending time with my family and value every minute my life that has been prolonged because of the medicines I am able to take.
