In February of 2006 I lost my job, and as a result I also lost my health coverage. My first and foremost concern was my medications. I take 13 medications, mostly for severe diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease. My meds are what keep me alive. My private physician gave me samples to get me by, but I knew they wouldn’t last forever. So, I started cutting them in half to try to stretch the meds until a solution could be found. I began making phone call after phone call to numerous agencies, asking for help, but got nothing but denial. In the meantime, my health started to deteriorate. I also was seeing the Montel commercial for PPA on TV constantly, but I ignored it. I was totally convinced that NOBODY would give me medication for free without having some kind of gimmick attached….
After 4 months of rapidly deteriorating health, and a depleted supply of meds, I had to come to accept that this was going to be how I would leave this world. I started preparing for this and began to get my affairs in order. I was also trying to prepare my family. This was a very difficult and emotional thing to do. It was especially hard for my family to see me so ill. It was during this time that Montel once again appeared on my TV. But this time it was different. He looked me straight in the eye as if I was the only one watching, and he said to call the toll free number. This time I didn’t push him away, he was my last hope. But I was still apprehensive, fully expecting another denial. I called the number and was immediately helped by the representative, who was extremely friendly. Within 8 days I received the first of my medications. And I’m doing well now–but without my medications I know I wouldn’t be alive today.

I have seen you on TV just like you saw Montel Williams. I am glad that you got the help you needed. See!…Montel was staring at you while you watched the PPA Commercial and now you can thank yourself for making that call, because now you are staring at another apprehensive person just like you were before you made that call. You are getting famous on my TV already because I noticed you on two commercials now to help others. God Bless you and continue to get well and keep on spreading the word to others that are now in the situation you were in before PPA. I think it’s wonderful and Montel is someone that can be trusted. He has graced my living room for many years from his talk shows and if he says PPA works, it does!….Best of luck to you. Oh, by the way…you are lucky because you got to meet Montel in person, you lucky thing. Ha ha.
